The Major League Soccer Club has announced that German attacking midfielder Marco Reus has signed a two and a half year contract with LA Galaxy. The 35 year old joins as a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund, where he spent 12 years and made 429 appearances. Reus, a two-time Bundesliga footballer of the year and former Dortmund Captain, concluded his tenure with a champions league final loss to Real Madrid in June. La galaxy will play Atlanta United at home on august 25, while Reus's deal will keep him with the club until the end of the 2026 season.
